Devlog #7
Ok, I have some big news. Some of its good, some of it's bad, most of it's still in progress (story of my life).
I was reviewing all the work I've done on A Kingdom Worth Saving, and I realized that though the game mechanics are cool, it doesn't really serve a purpose. The story was 'meh' (in my opinion), there we're a lot of things I'd wished I'd done differently, and most importantly....
I lost motivation.
And so, I'm here to say that over the next couple days I will finalize what I've made and release it to the public. As such, this will be my final devlog (not that anyone read them to begin with but hey, I find them fun).
This project gave me a reason to learn how to code , it taught me so much on how games work. It gave me a reason to learn how to draw pixel art and gave me the drive to work on things for extended periods of time.
So, in a sense, it accomplished it's goal.
Now this isn't to say I'm done developing games. far from it. I've had a good two months to think this over, And I think I might have struck gold in the story department (the name could use a lot of work).
Anyway, That's what I've been working on, you can probably expect me to update the page in the next couple of days.
